Â鶹´«Ã½AVs lose hundreds of millions of dollars to scammers each year. International university students may be disproportionately targeted by scammers. Recently, there have been several high-profile scam events targeting university students, including those at ANU.

It's important to stay up to date with common scamming techniques and prevention strategies.

The Agrifood Innovation Institute is supporting five ANU students (undergraduate or postgraduate) to attend the country’s biggest agrifood tech event evokeAG, in Brisbane on 18-19 February 2025. 

Interested students are invited to express their interest by completing an online form and emailing a copy of their most recent academic transcript to agrifood@anu.edu.au by 27 October 2024.

ANU students who have been migrated to Microsoft 365 OneDrive are advised of changes being made to cloud storage allocation limits.  

In the week commencing 21 October ITS will be updating the default and maximum storage limits for student OneDrives to 10GB (default) and 50GB (maximum).  

Students are advised to check their usage and consider a spring clean of their OneDrive if they are nearing the default limit.

Be cautious of unsolicited collaboration requests, especially in sensitive research areas. Invitations to conferences or access to your data could be attempts to misuse your work. Conduct due diligence on research partners and report concerns. Stay vigilant to safeguard your research and its impact.
