Heather Mitchell AM is one of Australia's most acclaimed actors. With a career spanning four decades she has performed in hundreds of theatre film and television productions. She has won awards both here and in the US. Her acting credits include: the soon to be released Ricky Stanicky starring Zac Efron and Love Me season 2 alongside Hugo Weaving. Other credits include Upright, The Unusual Suspects, Rake, A Place to Call Home, Spellbinder, Palm Beach and The Great Gatsby. Heather recently received the Sydney Theatre Award for her performance in The Sydney Theatre Company's RBG Of Many One by Suzie Miller and the Silver Logie for Love Me Season 1 She is on the Board of the Sydney Theatre Company and a Director on the Foundation Board. She was awarded an AM in the 2019 Australia day honours. Everything and Nothing is her first book
Professor Bronwyn Parry has been the Dean of The Â鶹´«Ã½AV National University's College of Arts and Social Sciences since November 2022. She was previously Vice President & Vice Principal for Service at King's College London from 2020 to 2022 .Before embarking on a distinguished academic career, Bronwyn earlier trained to become the first female carpenter in the Â鶹´«Ã½AV film and television industry, working on films such as Mad Max, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Dead Calm and The Year My Voice Broke.
This event is in association with Harry Hartog Bookshop. Copies of Heather's book will be available for purchase and signing by her with signings commencing at 5.15 pm.
